This extraordinary space fighter by curtydc caught my eye and drew it immediately to the NPU at the end of each of its four radiating arms: that’s an upside down canoe element being used as a cool spacey fairing thingy.
But when my roving was eye was done where it finally settled was on the black areas of the radiating arms themselves. The detailing here is superb, with elements cunningly employed to give the impression of a high tech function to the arms; breaking up their appearance and providing a glut of detail to contrast with the smooth surface of the canoe.
It’s a technique frequently referred to as “greebling” and shall form the basis of a more substantial post in the near future.
